Operation HELP

In December, 2006, the members of GotTwinz started something new! We began a covert operation that was dubbed
"Operation HELP".

Operation HELP exists because of the kind and generous natures of the members on this board. We banded together, gave from the bottoms of our hearts and bank accounts! It started out as a small operation with the intention of helping out one special member of our family. When it was all said and done, we were able to send gift cards to four of our members!

Because we understand that at one time or another, each one of us may face challenges in our lives, we have decided to keep Operation HELP up and running year round! We will be accepting monetary donations throughout the year (not just during the holiday season) and dispersing it as needed to the families here at GotTwinz.

GotTwinz was also made aware of a gentleman suffering from Progressive Primary Multiple Sclerosis, Wes House, earlier this year.  Wes is a friend of one of our members, and had lost his ability to speak.  This caring member and her husband organized a charity event called, “Rock the House,” hoping to raise enough money to buy him a computer that speaks for him.  When those of us at GotTwinz became aware of the situation, we started taking donations for him.  Our caring members raised over $400 for  Rock the House, and combined with the successful charity event, they brought in over $6000.

GotTwinz also plans on holding a yearly charity auction.  Our members will donate items, and all donated items will be put up for auction.  All proceeds from our charity auctions will be donated to charities, which will be determined before each auction.
